Arches National Park

Today was a day to go down in the books... I was absolutely blown away by the beauty and majesty of two magnificent parks, but for now, I'll just post pics of Arches. It's located in east or southeast Utah. We were there for most of the day, leaving in time for a 4 pm dinner, and then going at 5:30 (til 8:30) to Canyonlands. But back to Arches... We drove through the park and stopped a lot to walk around and take pics; while on these baby-hikes, we:

spotted some wildlife,

found pretty plants and dead trees,

of course... saw some ARCHES,

and visited their lovely port-o-potties

(I'm dead serious, their toilets are immaculate... purell right there, no stench. In a pinch, these are sure to impress, lol. Sorry to those of you for whom that was too much information).

There's so much more to say, and pictures to post. But it's way too late, and I'm just exhausted. Tomorrow is going to be a long day... we are driving back to Colorado. I am really looking forward to what we'll see and do along the way. More to come! Hopefully I'll have time to post our last few nights :) I didn't even get to mention Canyonlands Nat'l Park, or the friend we made on the train yesterday, whom we refer to as 'pickle'. Okay, I've said too much! Time to sleep.
