I can't believe it! Can you?!?!?
When this trip started, we were walking around Ft. Collins (north) Colorado in 80+ degree weather. It never occured to us to pack t-shirts and shorts. So off to Target we went. And what souvenirs did I pick up everywhere we went? Tees, of course! Imagine my surprise then, when we had snow for two hours this morning. It hardly stuck. We definitely couldn't see it in pictures, so we went down to Boulder, did some shopping, eating, and more shopping, and then more eating and drinking... and then came back. Driving up the mountain, we saw cars coming down the mountain with 6 inches of snow caked on top of their cars! We couldn't believe it!
Dad and Jeff had to shovel the driveway. See, that's Jeff (Tara's bf) shoveling in the background. He's bein' Mr. "LumberJack, kick-butt-take-names-later, everything-you-ever-wanted-to-know-about-Colorado" himself, working hard, while my dad chit-chats with the ladies. Lazy bum... Well, hopefully we won't be snowed in tomorrow morning. Tomorrow's Denver day. It's looking like that might not happen though... Whatever, this is awesome!!! And bitter cold... :) Gotta go; Dad's building a snowman, and I need to come up with some eyes for it...
