Seriously, these two lovebirds enjoy life more than your average pair. They're up for almost anything. They'll laugh at almost anything. They'll eat almost anything. They'll spar about almost anything. They'll play almost anything. And they say almost anything that comes to mind. Especially Alex, much to Kristel's dismay. I dig it.
So I think the thing I'll love most about N.C. will be living down the street from them. We're just four "houses" apart. I'd show you, but I don't need any stalkers having my address.
Kristel has humored me for the last year and a half. I've made her read blogs, listen to unfamiliar music, watch mediocre movies, cook and bake, read weird books... you name it. She's done it, and had fun. That's a great friend, if you ask me. I can't wait to get lost in a new town, find a cool shop, throw a dinner party and play Family Feud with her.
Alex deserves some props here too. He has such good taste, after all, that he snagged Kristel for his wife. He designs, teaches, sings, fixes, plays and creates with such energy that it's contagious. He's fiercely protective, but incredibly laid-back. And my favorite thing about Alex? His laugh. It's pretty amazing. When something is really funny to Alex, you can't help but enjoy his laughter. He is crying, after all. Here's the latest Alex-laugh I witnessed, on Sunday night.
And I'm sorry to everyone that we don't get to take with us. At least you have each other. :D

Best blog ever! I'm beyond glad you'll be in North Carolina with us! When Alex gets on my last nerve I can run away to your place. ;-) Remember, you have to be on MY side.
But all kidding aside, it's gonna be a blast. I can't wait to experience life with you in this strange new place. And plus we'll look SO good with our frizz-free hair and pea coats. (!!!)
I'm already planning the first visit up there with the old folks lol. They bought new luggage! That's a good sign ;)
