Wigs, Spiders, Trick or Treat...and it isn't even Halloween!

I just saw Sydney White. Yes, the movie with Amanda Bynes. Yes, the one that was made for 12-year-olds. And I really liked it. It was almost too cheesy (is there such a thing)? Unfortunately, I was distracted the entire time by her wig. Maybe you can't tell here, but she was wearing a wig. That was weird. There's nothing wrong with her hair. Crazy Hollywood....

I was driving home today when I saw a baby ant crawl out of an air vent. Weird, no? Imagine you're me, then, when another 20 come crawling out. Because then I saw about a dozen baby spiders crawling around the door frame. Eek! Next thing I know, there was a revenge of the spiders, ants, and I am 97% sure I saw a winged insect, crawling all around the driver's side. Oober creepy.

I had planned to just meet up with a friend, but opted to rush home and have my dad battle the revenge of the ants. And so he did. I called hysterically with a baby spider crawling across my foot, and he rushed out with some bug juice sticky silent killer thing. It worked. They swarmed that. I was able to go out in peace. Jenny and I had some time to kill before Sydney White started, so we stopped in at Williams-Sonoma and Crate & Barrel- only the two greatest stores at the Falls. Williams-Sonoma had just finished baking pumpkin bread. The whole store smelled like pumpkin. So we came in, got our little treat, and left. Trick or Treat! :D I don't recommend their pumpkin spice quickbread; it was pretty dry. Their pumpkin butter is really great, though!
