Bahumbug

I want every new recipe I try to be wonderful, and exactly what I expect. Is that so much to ask? Last night Kiki and I made Basil Chicken in Coconut Curry Sauce.

The picture called my name. The ingredients were promising. Alas... my mistake was imagining a 'thai'-like curry when this was in fact a DECIDEDLY 'indian'-like curry. And I just don't like Indian food. I have given it so many tries. I just like their bread (roti is awesome). The good news, everyone else thought it was wonderful. They raved of its flavorfulness and authenticity (gross-ness). I just ate extra lemon bars. Hehe...
