I didn't think that there would be car adventures, tragedies, nor milestones yesterday. But, boy, were there...
Just after I got on the expressway, Clunker spazzed out a bit. Wait! I believe introductions are in order: Meet Clunker. He is a 1995 Buick LeSabre. Why do I drive a clunker when I have a new car? Well, because I don't like to take my car to school. School is where people don't know how to drive. School is where students forget how to read signs, like 'STOP'. School is where girls don't see other cars on the road. Yes, girls. It's sad but true...
So anyway, Clunker started swerving. I looked in the rear view mirror and there were SCRAPS of black rubber flying all over the place. Oh my GOSH! THAT's my TIRE!!! I pulled over, and found that Clunker's rear right tire had shredded or exploded or whatever. It was dramatic.
Fortunately, I had my cell phone and hysterically called my dad. My hero... He came and supervised while I practiced changing the tire. Check me out in action. In a skirt and all :)
Then, dad sent me off to work in my car, and he took Clunker with him. (I wonder what became of Clunker. Hmmm...) Anywho, I left work at the end of the day and got on the expressway again. Notice 2 things:

1. My average speed- a whopping 8 miles per hour in beautiful Miami rush hour.
2. The odometer hit 9000 miles! What a wonderful 9000 miles they've been. I can honestly say that 8000 of those miles were happy miles, and 1000 or less were not happy. However, at 9000 miles now, that means that I have used up 25% or one-fourth of my warranty, which is only to 36,000 miles. I think the next 27,000 miles will probably fly by. I wonder where I'll go...
Well, those were the car adventures. I hope that tomorrow is uneventful.

Alex and I were on our way downtown once when the rear right tire NEARLY exploded. Luckily Alex could sense that something was wrong with the car before anything tragic happened...we pulled over on the side of the highway as he changed the tire....and I took pictures, lol.
You always have to record these special moments!
