Cheers, Mom!

My mom rocks. That's right, I said it. It's out there. It's nice to have a day to give her the kudos she deserves. She's funny, smart, generous, entertaining, kind, and oh-so-pretty. For her special day, I went with the gang to Vineyard for church this morning. They were rockin. And I can't get over the free donuts and hazelnut coffee that they let you take in the sanctuary. But because they were so rockin, I got lost in the excitement or emotion or whatever... and when the music ended, I sat on my donut. And no ordinary donut. No, no. That would be too easy for Anne Marie. No, I sat on my Boston-Creme donut. You can only imagine. (I still ate it though, hehe)

From there, we headed off to the restaurant we thought would be least likely to have patrons. Boy, did we find it. There was NO ONE at Titanic Brewery by UM... And it was delish! They put sriracha hot sauce (which you find in Vietnamese and Thai food) in their buffalo wings. Brilliant! Serious bite, too!!!

After lunch with my American side, we headed off to the Cuban side. (Sorry, no pictures. We get crazy. Es una locuuura!!!) Then, Dad and I washed cars from 5-7. That's right- 5-7. Apparently there is only enough water for us at these times. At 4:59 we can't do it; At 7:01, we better stop or we'll get a fine. Whatever, that's city life. At least we have water (and cars)!

This is the part that's just plain overkill. As if wings at a sports bar once in a day isn't enough... we were invited to Sports Grill for dinner with family friends. Of course, we couldn't turn down Sports Grill! Or the friends!
After more wings than I could take, we headed home and I made mom a special red velvet cake. Yummy!!! Only the best for you, mama ;O
