Kat and Lenny were AWESOME to get me a ticket, I owe them. And look who happened to be sitting behind us!?! It was a good time, Heredes likes to sing very loud, and Carlos joined in too. It was like a concert within a concert. BankUnited center is kind of a funny venue, and there was a concession stand kind of in the middle, which was weird. But when Bart led everyone in a couple hymns, any distractions just faded. Beautiful. And I was tickled to hear them sing 'word of God speak'... one of the most awesomeness songs. Ooh, and 'in the blink of an eye'- i liked that one too.We left UM and went to Sergio's... eventually. I got a croqueta sandwich (?) that had ham, turkey, cheese and of course croquetas. Sadly, this sandwich was covered in mustard, which I spent 15 minutes trying to scrape off. Good times. So this leaves me wiped out, because I have not been home much this week. Add to that, I am fighting a cold (and losing) and trying to write two term papers this weekend. And still very sad about my friend Leyla losing Ken.
On a happy note,
- I have taken a lot of NyQuil tonight, and will soon pass out :) and not set my alarm
- Tomorrow we are going to wash cars and I'm going to visit Knaus Berry farm
- Work, although hectic, has been exciting. There are a lot of people going on this summer's trip to Mexico- www.spearhead.org
- Soon, soooo soon, I will be in Colorado enjoying the mountains and drives and family and aqualung and br*weries. It looks like we will also go to 4 corners (AZ, UT, NM, CO) and Arches Nat'l Park, and some park near Laramie in Wyoming. I CAN'T WAIT!!!
- My last exam will be on the 26th. It will be nice to have this semester behind me.
- Kiki is the best person I could've asked to work with and call my friend. She made my day today!
