Last week was a total blur. But for a couple of highlights:
-I got my midterm back, and I got an A :)
-I took my fren Kiki to ThaiRama for lunch. She won't be back at work for another week and a half... she will be missed.
-I got better on guitar... kind of. I've started learning to read music and I'm reading up on music theory, which is ugh to say the least. But I'll get it, eventually (I hope). The hope is that I'll be better than mediocre one day. Maybe even good...
-I rearranged my room. It feels way bigger now. And so comfy :)
-Kat helped me with my room. Only because we pointlessly went to Barnes & Noble for a fictional mbc bible study that does not actually meet there like they say they do. I think they have posted a camera to watch idiots like us walk up and look at all the people enjoying coffee and a good book, while we search for a familiar face with bibles in our arms...
On to the weekend, it was definitely a good one!

Kiki and family got free tickets and POP wristbands for the FAIR on Friday. It was fun, I can't remember the last time I went (at least 5 years) and I rode on himalaya i think 3 times among other rides... and indulged in a corn dog. (i wish i had done it in that order, lol). Right after the fair, I met my family at Coral Reef Park for a movie night. Sooo cute! They have popcorn and everyone brings lawn chairs, and you just camp out in front of this huge drive-in-size screen. They showed 'night at the museum.' It was actually pretty funny!
...Saturday was St. Patty's day! My dad and I finished painting my room, went grocery shopping for the week, I did some laundry, and cooked twice. For brunch, we had chicken and waffles (sounds weird, i know, but it's such a good combination!) and for dinner I made a 'creative' irish
dinner. Aside from corned beef and cabbage being in the ingredients, it wasn't irish at all... but so good! I'm sorry, but after having corned beef and cabbage last year for the first time (ick) I vowed to not make that garbage again. So blah... I renovated the food by making a corned beef and cabbage 'stoup' (think stew/soup) and corned beef and cabbage pizza. The pizza was actually DELISH!!! Totally the underdog of the meal, the sleeper, surprise, etc. but it held its own. lol (like the food is competing or something)...Sunday I went to church, visited my sis (hooray!), visited my mom at her open house (i had to pretend i was an interested buyer when other people showed up, lol), and then went back to church.
...Finally, today :) I slept in, because it is officially spring break!!! and then i met up with a friend from food for the hungry. i took him down to key largo and knaus berry farm. i'm going for a record this year, i think that was the 4th trip down and the shakes and sticky buns were as good as ever! xoxo
