Hmmm... it's been too long since I posted, but I have many (good) excuses:
#1- I had a midterm, a big one, and had to study like no tomorrow for the last week. On the upside, It's OVER!!! and I think I did purdy good. Praise God! I was fretting. To celebrate, my parents took me out to dinner last night. We went to this cute new place hidden near Dadeland called 'Village Tavern.' Mini burgers, nachos, wings and chili- you are my good friends! I'm so happy that my midterm is over! .... did I mention it's OVER!!!
#2- I was busy cooking.

#3- God has really been challenging me to spend more time with Him. It's easy, so easy, to do other things, but He has patiently pursued me, and I've tried to slow down a bit. Just this morning, I read Galatians 5, and the very end stuck out to me: (24) Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. (25) Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
I pray that I would keep in step with Him, not this world. And that is my prayer for you too!
#4- I spent entirely too much time lolly-gagging (wasting time) on Myspace and YouTube...
#5- I've been practicing guitar. I've gotta say, once that rotten pinkie finger stops hiding behind the neck, it should be clear sailing. Ha...

Phyllo wrapped asparagus???!!! Sounds uber-yummy....when can I start fishing for an invite???
I've been "playing" the guitar for about 8 years, and I still can't get my pinky to come out from behind the neck. But don't be discouraged: unlike me, you probably actually have some musical talent.
