Remember, remember the 9th of Febr(ember)

(Props to V for Vendetta... )
Anyways, Why, you might ask, is February 9th of any significance? I'll tell you why... A year ago today, my mom had colorectal cancer removed and so as of today she has been cancer free for one year! Go mom!!! She's been solid, even when this last year of recovery was rough... I wouldn't trade her! And I can't imagine not having her happy self around! To celebrate, me and my dad took her to Outback. It was the best outback trip... Bloomin onion, you rock my world. And I also give kudos for their Hickory Burger (NEW!), nice sauce, nice toppings, nice job.

In a spirited game of coaster tic-tac-toe, my dad and I realized the coasters had some pretty clever little statements. Check this one out- I thought it was hilarious, and then my mom (half an hour later) asked why you would search for 'myself'? How would it know who you are? WOW! That will go down in history :)

Another one for the books~ Today for the first time ever, I changed the strings on my guitar!!! The first one almost took out my eye, but I'm recovered, and finished alright. It only took me a stinkin' HOUR to tune it again!!! Isn't she lovely?

I will remember, remember the 9th of Febr(ember)...
