Hello, all 2 followers of this blog. Nice to see you here ;)
I go back and forth on whether or not to just let the blog die already, but I can't. So it goes on in this sort of half-life way, where I throw it a little bone every month or two. It takes a lot to get me inspired, because micro-bloggin' is just SO. much. easier. over on Twitter.
...
But alas, I like 'What's Cookin' and I've decided to bring it back to life. For realz.
Tomorrow I'll start by giving away a copy of Don Miller's new book 'A Million Miles in a Thousand Years' after I post my review of it. For a chance to win, I want you to comment on this post and tell me what it is that you want to see or used to like on this here blogaroo. If I'm gonna blog again, I want it to be about things you want to read about.
So... a comment about what you want to see here will get you an entry. Just one. Even if you have 5 great ideas, put them all in one comment. And if you tweet this and then leave a comment here telling me that you did, you'll get another entry.
I'm kind of excited to see who wins the book (and to read your lovely ideas too).
Comment and tweet entries will be accepted until 11:59 pm, Sep.29. Winner will be selected by Random Number Generator.

Hmm..let's see...what would I like to read on your blog? Hmmm...
How about just what's going on with you. How's school going? What are you learning that's really inspiring you?
How about writing about all the crazy stuff you see at those festivals you work at? There's gotta be some good stories there. ;-)
Oh, and food blogs are always good.
I agree with Kristel. Of course Im not one to be talking since I havent written in like 8 months. Please forgive me.
I also would like to hear about your life since I feel like I don't get to see you as often anymore. I love your amusing stories about the things that happen to you (cone of not-so-silence anyone?).
I also really appreciate your view on media, so your thoughts on bands, albums, films, etc. is something I would very much love to read. I miss watching obscure indie flicks with you, so if I could at least read about them that might be like the good ol' days!
I'm excited to read more. I also need to be better about writing...
My dear Anne Marie, I love reading your random and not-so-random thoughts and anecdotes! I am so excited about what God is doing in your heart right now and think that it would be nice to see some of that on here as well. No matter what you do, I like keeping up with you so you know I'll be checking!
Hi Anne Marie,
I have been seeing your FB statuses pointing to your book giveaway and decided to pop over here and leave a comment entry for two reasons:
1)I read your review and it sounds awesome and I want to win the book. =D
2) I want to encourage you to keep blogging. Even if it's just for your "2 followers." Write about food and school and friends and family, because it ALL matters.
Besos,
Marta
And the winner is...
Kristel.
Thanks to everyone else who commented. You're all lovely and encouraging <3 And you can read the free excerpt that I linked to in my review... Good stuff.
What's goin' on in your life in NC? Us Miami folk are curoous. ;)
I didn't really want the book so I waited til it was over so someone else can have it:) I love reading about what the Lord is putting in your heart. How you are really feeling/ adjusting/ doing. I really enjoy your people watching type, humorous posts. And I know this can't be helped, but I miss your doses of dementia right now, for obvious reasons:/ I love you my friend and am very proud of you.
