We're Cool Like That

Right after Christmas, my parents and I went to D.C. for a couple of days. As soon as we got there, we drove right past the Washington Monument, Capitol Hill and even the White House. Where were we headed?
Ben's Chili Bowl.
What an amazing place. Their chili half-smokes are Washington DC's signature dish. And they're awesome. The best thing about Ben's, though, is the whole vibe. Super crowded. Not the best part of town. Simple, cheap food. No organic tofu here. Chaotic to order and to get your food when it's ready. People from all walks - and I mean all walks - of life eat here. They have a sign behind the counter that says "Who Eats Free: Obama Family. Bill Cosby"
Well guess who did today (just a few days after I did)... Obama.
I'm not saying anything political. I'm just sayin'... we're cool like that.
