Red Velvet Cupcakes

I have a secret to confess. I have not made these cupcakes the same way twice, let alone the four times I've made them. For Zeal's first anniversary/birthday (?) I made a giant red velvet cake. It tasted pretty great. And I made it using a pretty unconventional recipe. One problem. I can't find that recipe. And I keep getting requests. And I keep making it a different way. Every time. This last batch was decent. But I want to find that truly great version. I hate that I can't find the good recipe. Google, why do you fail me? Will I have to resort to Ask.com? I hate even more that I'm spilling my secret. Last night's cupcakes were an impostor.

Guess who's back!!!

I'm jealous that I haven't had any more of the red velvet cake-lings...impostors or not!

That zeal cake was pretty magnificent :) and there's nothing wrong w/ saying the ZEAL cake was a ONE of a kind cake for a one of a kind birthday!
Those impostor cupcakes look finger licking good too. Hope all is well!! Oh and since google is failing you you should absolutely switch to GoodSearch.com (check it out on myspace bulletin from the Feeding Network)

I forgive you b/c you're "road tripping." How's NC???? Is it freezing? I hope your parents like SEBTS. I'm sure they'll love it.

Thanks again for having us at LP. It was really great. And the food was sooooo good! Alex and I have a Christmas card for you...we were gonna give it to you on Christmas Eve...buuuut you weren't around, lol. Whoops. Oh well, it'll be a belated Christmas card now.
